He is Sheikh AbdelAziz Al-Amghari, son of the faqîh Mohammed. His lineage goes back to Sayiduna Al-Hassan, grandson of the Messenger of ALLAH ﷺ, and his name « Al-Amghari » refers to his ancestor, the Spiritual Guide Abû Abdillah Amghar, who lived in the sixth century of the Hijra. Born in 1966 in the Doukkala region of Morocco, he grew up within a noble and conservative family.

In 1985, he travelled to France to pursue his pharmacy studies. There he met his Sheikh, Sheikh Rajab Deeb of Damascus, who granted him the ijâza for teaching, preaching and guidance.
